The Wild Compass is a homeschool enrichment club created by four homeschool moms who believe learning is most meaningful when it is rooted in wonder, creativity, friendship, and the rhythms of the seasons.

Each Monday at Sawnee Mountain Preserve in Cumming, Georgia, children and parents gather for a relaxed, nature-inspired experience filled with seasonal crafts, hands-on unit studies, engaging stories, games, nature walks, and meaningful friendships. We value curiosity, imagination, and giving children the space to learn through exploration, creativity, and community.

Designed for children ages 5–12, The Wild Compass is especially well-suited for older elementary-aged learners who enjoy creative projects, outdoor adventures, and engaging activities. Children attend alongside a parent or guardian, creating a welcoming environment where families can connect and learn together.

We meet Mondays from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, rain or shine. Pack a lunch, dress for the weather, and join us as we explore, create, and celebrate the beauty of every season.

Through seasonal crafts, hands-on unit studies, stories, nature walks, and plenty of time to build friendships, we hope to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in a relaxed and encouraging setting.

The Wild Compass is a place for families seeking connection, creativity, and a gentle homeschool community where children can grow, learn, and make lasting memories together. Come as you are and find your place along the path.
